Setup Amazon Seller and Helium 10

Now that our WordPress Website is all set up, our YouTube Channel is updating videos and our Social Media is promoting our content it’s time for what I like to call the fun part.

Through the next set of videos, we’re going to be tying all these strings together in a nice little bow bringing all our hard work to the desired result of making some money. This is a slow process so I congratulate everyone who has made it this far. All those “Gurus” promising instant success in thirty days are full of crap. It takes time and effort to do the work and failure is part of the equation. BUT DON’T GIVE UP!

That is one of the main reasons I created this channel so I can teach you what I know, we can learn and succeed together and you can watch My Media Helper grow to prove to you and myself it can be done.

In this lesson video, we’ll start to expand from what we’ve learned previously and start tying everything together. The last big leap is going to be signing up for our Amazon Seller Account. After this video, we’ll be concentrating on building up what we already have learned previously and start making revenue. There is a method to all the madness.

When setting up my Amazon Seller Account I’ll be utilizing Helium 10. As you may or may not know there are several different similar services you can utilize. I just happened to choose this one to the fact I wanted to learn more about it. What better way than sharing our experiences together?

Setup your account at Helium 10: https://www.helium10.com

You’ll need to have a payment method for sending and receiving. The wisest thing to do is have a Checking Account. If you use Credit Cards make sure you have a card that generates points so you can be making money off that Charge as well.

I personally have an Amazon Credit Card that gives me points towards purchases or cashback. And I also link up my Checking Account.

You’ll need some kind of Bank Statement or Billing Statement to show proof that you are who you say you are.

You’ll also need identification. I used my Driver’s License.

To start with set up an Amazon PPC (pay-per-click) and Affiliate Account: https://affiliate-program.amazon.com

This will allow you to place existing Amazon Listings on your websites. We went over this on previous lessons, but I’ll touch upon it in the video. It’s extremely simple to go ahead and do.

Once your Amazon Affiliate Account is set up along with your Helium 10 Account you’ll want to link the account. In Helium 10 on the upper right-hand side drop-down click on “Connected Account”.

Follow the prompts to “Connect your PPC Accounts”.

We’ll go through the steps of how to set up your Seller Account.

NOTE: Double and Triple check your information. I didn’t put dates incorrectly. It doesn’t hurt anything. It just prolongs getting setup. Let my mistakes be your learning experience.

Next, we’ll Connect your Seller Account.

Again, follow the prompts through as explained in the Video Lesson.

COOL! Let’s start listing some products!

Start with taking pictures of your products. Use discretion if you’re taking images from another source. For used products, I would highly suggest using your own photos.

I use a piece of blue or green fabric or even a blue T-Shirt in my closet as a backdrop so you can use a graphics program to crop out the back. You may have a home studio which is perfect. I do not.

You can use PhotoShop:

or

A free program such as Photopea.

Set up your Business Profile

You can obtain your DUNS number at Dun & Bradstreet.

We’ll list some products to get a feel for the service.

COMING SOON: We’re going to expand the knowledge we learned in this tutorial. We’re going to seek out drop-shippers and build our Amazon Seller Store.
